Reconciliation Action Plan
Overview
The second NSW Treasury's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) presented a unique opportunity to build upon and reflect on the accomplishments of the previous fiscal year, 2022-23.
Task
I spearheaded the development of a design scheme for a pivotal and sensitive publication, aiming to establish it as a trustworthy and transparent resource. This involved incorporating real imagery from relevant gatherings, meticulously selected for authenticity and resonance. My core responsibility centered on visually translating the Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan 2022-2024 into a digital publication format, requiring a seamless fusion of graphic design expertise and strategic thinking. Guided by a commitment to clarity and accessibility, I curated colours, icons, and stylistic elements to ensure coherence and engagement. Leveraging the client's extensive image repository, I selected visuals that complemented the narrative and evoked empathy. Ultimately, my objective was to enhance readability, impact, and foster genuine connection and understanding of the plan's crucial message of reconciliation.
